The 2017 awards honor productions which opened between October 1, 2016 and September 30, 2017. Nominations were completely reader-submitted and after the nomination period ended October 31, BroadwayWorld's local editors proofed the list for eligibility and errors.

Directed by Amy Lane, this cast is stellar. They aren't even acting. They flawlessly embody the MacLeods and lawyers living out their drama. There will be awards…lots of awards…for Laura Leininger-Campbell's production, EMINENT DOMAIN.

Although tailored for children, adults will enjoy this classic that reminisces back to a yesteryear of childhood and imagination, in the perpetual fantasy world of Neverland.

Audiences will be transported on a magical flight to Neverland for a swashbuckling musical that delivers non-stop action, spell-binding music and stunning choreography when Peter Pan takes flight at The Rose Theater, June 2-18, 2017. 

Opera Australia's co-production with Royal Opera House and Dallas Opera's production of the rarely performed KRÓL ROGER (KING ROGER) is a magnificent expression of one man's inner conflict.

The second annual spectacular evening of wonderful entertainment by Broadway's brightest singing the wonderful standards and hits sung by the late, great Nancy Lamott on the 21st anniversary of her death, to benefit the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America, took place on Monday, October 24, at 6 PM at the Copacabana in New York City. The house was estrogen-filled last night at the Omaha Community Playhouse. The Rose Theater's upcoming season invites audiences to gallop off to the Old West, fly away to a distant planet in another dimension and float away holding a magical umbrella. The nine main stage shows promise to transport audiences to new worlds and open their minds to a multitude of experiences.
