Joe currently can be seen in the roles of Jethro and Soup cook (backup) in the 2023 return of Moses at Sight & Sound Theatre’s Strasburg, Pennsylvania location. In the recent past, Joe portrayed the roles of Abner and Samuel (understudy) in David (2022), as Mordecai in Queen Esther (2020 and 2021), as Ezraand Caiaphas (understudy) in Jesus and Jacob in Miracle of Christmas (2019), as Ezra and Joseph of Arimathea (understudy) as well as Uncle Abram (understudy) in Jesus (2018), and as Sabba Ephrum in Jonah and as Jacob in Miracle of Christmas (2017). Joe also appeared as the Egyptian Commander and
Thutmoses II in the 2016 production of Moses at the Branson, Missouri location of Sight & Sound Theatre.

Joe began working as a professional actor after having received his BFA from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island. Having numerous credits to his name, some of his favorite roles include portraying King Triton in Disney’s The Little Mermaid at The Rose Theatre in Omaha, Nebraska for their 2016 season and as George Banks in Mary Poppins for their 2015 season. Joe enjoyed the opportunity to portray Mr. Stopnick in Caroline, or Change, Feldzieg in The Drowsy Chaperone, Inspector Kemp/Hermit in Young Frankenstein, Dr. Madden/Dr. Fine in Next to Normal, Javert in Les Miserables (Fonda/ McGuire award; TAG and OEA awards - Best Actor in a Musical, TAG award - Best Ensemble), Professor Callahan in Legally Blonde, Tito Merelli in Lend Me a Tenor (TAG award - Best Ensemble), and Big Jule in Guys and Dolls - all at the Omaha Community Playhouse. Other favorite stage credits include El Gallo in The
Fantasticks, Alan in Come Blow Your Horn, and Porter Milgrim in Death Trap for the Northern Arizona University’s Summer Repertory Theatre program as well as Jud in Oklahoma and Smokey in Damn Yankees, both for Musical Theatre of Arizona. Joe was a member of Actors Equity Association for many years and enjoyed working professionally in theatre, film, and commercials in the Phoenix region and nationally. Joe is grateful for his beautiful wife, Karrin, and his son, Nikolai, for their endless encouragement and support of his theatrical endeavors.
